Established in 1980 as Canadian Travel School, Canadian Tourism College continues a proud tradition of educational excellence. Our present name was adopted in 1998 to reflect a new, expanded curriculum - programs designed to prepare our students for the many new career opportunities emerging within the industry. Today, Canadian Tourism College is recognized throughout the travel and tourism industry as the leader in quality training, and remains guided by one basic principle: we put the needs of our students first. We are committed to providing an extensive, current, and industry-validated curriculum, along with computer training, pro-active counseling services, financial aid, and lifetime job placement assistance.

Our staff and instructors are dedicated professionals and recognized experts in their respective fields and they bring years of valuable industry experience to their instructional careers. We also offer an extensive resource of network contacts in the travel and tourism industry. The services of our career development counselors are made available to every Canadian Tourism College student and graduate with lifetime placement assistance.

CTC is both registered and accredited by the Private Post Secondary Education Commission in British Columbia making all programs eligible for provincial and federal student loans. Through the PPSEC accreditation process, the institution and its programs are evaluated and recognized for quality assurance and the institution is awarded an accreditation certificate valid for five years. Students can be confident that an institution and its educational programs meet criteria and standards established by the Commission. Registration with PPSEC is mandatory for all private post secondary in British Columbia. However, accreditation is a voluntary process by which a registered institution seeks recognition of its standards of integrity and educational competence.

At Canadian Tourism College we offer the following tourism diploma programs: Hospitality and Resort Management, Travel & Tourism Advanced ACCESS endorsed Level II and Level I, Adventure Tourism, and Flight Attendant Pre-Employment.
