The Hospitality and Event Management program provides students with the education, training and experience they will need to become the next generation of leaders in one of the world’s largest industries. As our society increases its use of electronic communication devices and social media at an exponential rate, there is a need to develop a personal touch for the services provided by hospitality and event professionals. We have designed our Hospitality and Event Management program to equip students with strong interpersonal skills as well as the technological competence necessary to succeed in this dynamic service industry.

The program maintains a strong focus on hotel, restaurant and event management. From day one students will be immersed in course work that gives them opportunities to work on projects that keep them in touch with industry trends. Embedded in all course offerings are learning experiences that employ case studies, hands-on projects and observations based on student’s professional goals. Burlington College hosts many events each year providing students with an excellent on-campus venue in which to learn and practice their management skills.
