NEW BUSINESS - TAMPA/LAKELAND/ORLANDO-KISSIMMEE, FL
===================================================
We want to generate some "new business" for those subscribed from the "hotel" segment. Here's the basics; need 7-8 rooms for December 28-31, check-out on Jan. 1st -and- back in Jan. 3rd with check-out the 4th. Request is for a property along the I-4 corridor. Each room "must" be dbl/dbl (or qn/qn) and a cot/rollaway "is" required for each room. The rooms sleep 3 persons only (requirement of the university team). Food & Beverage is not required. Quoted rate must be commissionable. If you, or someone you know should have an opportunity at quoting, kindly re- spond no later than this Friday (9PM-EST) with an initial quote or in- quiry using this specific address, Hotel@Hospitality-1st.com which will help speed up the process of answering your e-mails. Client generated in excess of $10,000 in revenues for the city of Durham, NC last year. This 35-40 room-nights can be a nice piece of business when everything is considered. We also reward the selected property with an announcement here just as we did for those last year. You can re-visit issue #98 linked here hospitality-1st.com/newsletters/News98txt.html which is part of our newsletter archive.

SEASONAL MESSAGES AND HOLIDAY TIMES
===================================
Do you have "seasonal messages" formatted yet? Subliminal salutations, especially around Christmas and New Years are generally well received. We do not address any religious or ethnic affiliations here, nor do we ever intend to offend anyone for their personal beliefs. We offer 145 translated languages of "Merry Christmas + Happy New Years", to anyone wishing to use them. Visiting the following link allows you to view it hospitality-1st.com/school/holiday-greetings.html and you'll be able to also download a word.doc file that includes the entire list if you care to pass it along to family, friends and clients (passing the link along is actually easier than forwarding an attachment - they can download the file for themselves if needed and this limits any "virus" concerns some may have about attachments with an e-mail). This file is copyright free and you may use it, as deemed appropriate, without credit to Hospitality 1ST (of course it's nice if you wish to mention us).

FROM OUR LISTSERV
=================
Some of the topics covered the past 7-10 days; performance of USPS the past couple of weeks; Internet connections (fast or slow); non-profits asking for reduced fees and other business concessions; "slow-pays" in our industry - vendor/supplier concerns. We invite others to add their voice - visit hospitality-1st.com/listserv.html for information on joining. Message volume is relatively low - discussion is moderated and spam (i.e. blatant advertising) non-existent. Networking, however, is welcomed and expected.
