to the world�s largest tourism industry, Florida is synonymous with beaches,
international glamour, natural attractions and more. On September 8, the
Florida Governor�s Conference on Tourism recognized Jacober
Creative as an outstanding performer in the highly competitive world
of tourism marketing by awarding them two Flagler Awards.
The
South Beach-based design studio took two first-place trophies for their
work for the Town of Surfside. One Gold �Henry� was awarded for the Surfside
Visitor�s Guide, part of the 2015-16 �Simply Surfside� campaign. Jacober
won Gold in the Resource/Promotional Material-Consumer category and took
�Best in Show� in the under $500,000 budget category. The awards were for
their outstanding graphic design, art direction and photography, which
positioned Surfside as a destination for families and visitors.
�We�re
thrilled to get this kind of recognition in a state like Florida, where
tourism is a major industry and we are competing against serious players,�
said Paul Jacober, principal of Jacober Creative. �Our bright, playful,
upbeat design was both retro and forward-looking, sexy and accessible.
It was one of my favorite projects this year, thanks to the hard work of
our staff, especially art director Adriana Mazariegos.�
