QSR
magazine Announces Austin, Texas, to Host Dine America 2007
Durham,
NC March 2007 QSR®
magazine, a publication for executives and operators in the
foodservice industry, will hold its Fourth Annual Dine
America Executive Idea Exchange conference, May 6th 8th at Austin,
Texass Renaissance Austin Hotel.
Each
year, Dine Americas opening reception is followed by two days of expert-led
presentations and working sessions focused on issues pertinent to the restaurant
industry. This years program will include timely discussions of the U.S.
immigration policy, the ROI of sustainable restaurant management, and the
Hispanic consumer market.
The
move to Austin is a first for Dine America, which has traditionally been
held in Atlanta, Georgia, home of one of the conferences primary sponsors,
the Coca-Cola Company. This year new conference sponsors include Bank of
Americas Franchise Banking Group, The Soyfoods Council, and DIRECTV.
Were
bringing Dine America to Austin because the city has developed into an
exceptional conference and convention marketplacefull of services and
sights ideal for business visitors, says Michael Nuckolls, managing director
of Dine America. Both the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city
provided us immeasurable assistance. Plus the restaurant industry is currently
the largest private sector employer in Texas, and Austin is home to the
Texas Restaurant Association.
