North, one of the largest privately-held hospitality and food service
companies in the world, has named Carlos Bernal president of Delaware
North Sportservice.

Bernal
has been serving as chief operating officer and interim president of Delaware
North�s flagship operating company since November 2015. As president, Bernal
will be responsible for providing oversight and strategic direction to
Delaware North Sportservice, which serves sports fans in more than 50 stadiums,
ballparks and arenas.

Bernal will draw from his extensive industry experience to both honor the
rich traditions of sports, while also embracing innovative and constructive
changes to enhance the fan experience in our venues,� said Rick Abramson,
executive vice president and chief operating officer of Delaware North.
Bernal
began working for Delaware North Sportservice in 1986 as the general manager
at the former Chicago Stadium. He served as general manager at Busch Stadium
in St. Louis from 1989-1991, after which time he left Delaware North to
pursue other leadership roles in the food and hospitality service industries.
Those
roles included being a vice president at Host Marriott Services, senior
vice president at The Mills Corporation, senior vice president at Westfield
Corporation and president of FoodBrand LLC, where he had operational responsibility
for 79 restaurants across the country. Before returning to Delaware North
in 2015, he was CEO of Wagamama North America, where he oversaw the growth
of the Japanese-inspired restaurant chain.
