Award-winning
Clive Daniel Homes interior designers Charlie
Hansen and Rebekah
Errett-Pikosky were chosen to design the first Clive Daniel model on
the property. Completion of their Bartow model is expected in early 2017
and will be available totally furnished. Phase One of Babcock Ranch is
planned for completion in 2017 and is expected to house 1,100 residents.
Upon final build out, the ranch will have nearly 20,000 homes, all powered
by the sun.
According
to designer Errett-Pikosky, The interiors of the Bartow model will be
very natural and inspired by the environment. With 2,822-square-feet under
air, the three-bedroom home will feature an Eco-luxe design, with a study,

We are proud to work with Clive Daniel Home to bring timeless architecturally
designed residences to Babcock Ranch as it continues to grow.
Babcock
Ranch is an approximately 17,000-acre planned community under development
in Southwest Floridas Lee and Charlotte Counties, approved as part of
a public-private partnership with the State of Florida and local governments.
The mammoth development is more than 3,000 acres larger than Manhattan.
In
2009, the company joined with Florida Power & Light to announce plans
to make Babcock Ranch the first solar-powered city in the United States.
Approximately ninety percent of Babcock Ranchs total land will remain
undeveloped, including more than half of the area owned by developers Kitson
& Partners, to be preserved as open space, nature reserves or for agricultural
use. The complex real estate transaction facilitated the largest conservation
land acquisition in Florida history. The Babcock Ranch Preserve, which
includes land owned by the State of Florida and by Lee County, covers eighty
percent or 73,000 acres of the ranchs original approximately 91,000
acres.
All
commercial buildings and homes in Babcock Ranch must be certified as energy-efficient
and constructed according to Florida Green Building Coalition standards.
Homes will be constructed using insulated panel design with low impact
landscaping that promotes water conservation and the use of solar energy.
