Acting Commissioner of Tourism Monique Sibilly-Hodge is pleased to announce an enticing new program for the upcoming Fall season - the �Fall into America�s Caribbean� promotion - offered by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism in conjunction with the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association. �I am excited that we can offer our �Fall Into America�s Caribbean� promotion again this year,� Acting Commissioner Sibilly-Hodge commented. �The promotion is very comprehensive and really assists travelers in putting together their ideal cost-saving vacation, from comfortable accommodations to days filled with sightseeing and exploring. It is an honor to once again partner with the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association for this special travel promotion.� Valid for travel August 31 through December 15, 2004, the promotion provides many exciting ways for visitors to experience all that the USVI has to offer. Travelers will enjoy a complimentary room upgrade (based on availability) and their fifth night free when a minimum four-night stay is booked at a participating hotel. Visitors will enjoy exploring the island with a four-day car rental for the price of three days at participating car rental companies, which include: Avis Car Rental, Budget Rent a Car and Judi of Croix on St. Croix; Avis Car Rental and Cool Breeze Jeep Rental on St. John; and Amalie Car Rental, Avis Car Rental, Budget Rent a Car (must mention promotion code SAQI) and Tri Island Car Rental on St. Thomas. Additionally, the USVI Department of Tourism will provide visitors with extra spending money in the form of a $50 American Express traveler�s cheque, which may be stretched a little further with the $500 coupon booklet that is part of the promotion. Local retailers and vendors have contributed to the coupon booklet, which contains discounts totaling more than $500 in savings for attractions, activities, restaurants, retail shops and a variety of fun and entertaining venues on all three islands.
