�Our �Summer Super Saver� promotion provides many value-added incentives for travelers to book a summer vacation to the United States Virgin Islands,� Richards said. �The USVI Department of Tourism has teamed up with American Express and local hotels and vendors to provide an extra night free in America�s Caribbean and many exclusive discounts for summertime travelers to enjoy fun-filled vacations on St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas.�

The �Summer Super Saver� promotion features discounted accommodations, including a fifth night free when travelers book a minimum four-night stay on St. Croix or St. Thomas (or sixth-night free when they book a minimum of five nights on St. John) at one of the participating hotels and resorts. When visitors check-in to their host hotel or resort, they will receive a $50 American Express traveler�s cheque (one per person and a maximum of two per booking). Travelers using their American Express card to book this promotion also will receive a coupon booklet with savings up to $500 to be used at local restaurants, attractions, retail stores and other fun and entertainment venues throughout the USVI.  The promotion is valid for travel April 16 through August 31, 2004, and must be booked by your favorite travel agent through participating tour operators between April 15 and August 15, 2004. Blackout dates may apply at select properties. This offer cannot be combined with other promotions and is not valid on pre-existing reservations.

Participating properties include: on St. Croix - The Buccaneer Hotel, Chenay Bay Beach Resort, Club St. Croix, Colony Cove, Divi Carina Bay Resort, Hotel Caravelle and The Frederiksted Hotel; on St. John - The Westin St. John Resort (6th night free instead of 5th); and on St. Thomas - The Anchorage, Best Western Carib Beach, Best Western Emerald Beach, Bolongo Bay Beach Club, Crystal Cove, Grand Beach Palace, Holiday Inn Windward Passage, Marriott Frenchman�s Reef Resort, Point Pleasant Resort, Sapphire Beach Resort, Sapphire Village, Secret Harbour Beach Resort and Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa.
