Graduates who possess a combination of a Certificate and Degree or Diploma and Degree have strong applied management skills that are grounded in theory. These graduates are well equipped to develop their own business or fill a variety of management and supervisory positions including: supervisors and entry level managers in resorts, airlines, hotels, attractions, cruise ships, guest services, recreation facilities, tour operations, transportation firms and visitor and convention bureaus; sales representatives, sales and marketing coordinators or managers; economic development officers; planners in private sector and government organizations (municipal, provincial, or national agencies); park planners; human resource coordinators; food and beverage services managers; and information services officers or park visitor activities managers.
