Located in the heart of
the Pacific Ocean, the School of Travel Industry Management at the University
of Hawaii-Manoa is at the center of the world's fastest growing region
for tourism and travel. The School is the leading professional institution
in the development and dissemination of knowledge on all aspects of the
travel industry in the Pacific including hospitality, tourism and transportation
management. It is well known for its diverse and highly published faculty,
who are involved in research and service in addition to their teaching
activities. The School specializes in the Asia-Pacific region, however,
its student body and faculty come from all over the world. The School also
benefits from strong industry relations with a full range of travel, hospitality,
accommodations, restaurant, tourism and transportation organizations involved
directly with School activities and programs. The School is very student

The School of Travel Industry
