recent appointment of Jim Wright as Vice President and Chief Marketing
Officer.
A proven performer with more than three decades of telecom industry experience, Wright is responsible for leading TeleMatrix�s global sales and marketing activities, as well as contributing his vast skill sets to various corporate management processes and ongoing growth initiatives, said Dale Pelletier, TeleMatrix President and Founder. Wright spent the past nine years as General Manager of Consultronics Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of connectivity testing and simulation equipment to the telecom industry. Earlier, Wright served for eight years as Vice President of Sales for Toshiba America�s Telecommunication Systems (Key and PABX) Division, before being promoted to VP - Business & Strategic Planning for the telecom unit. He also held senior management and executive positions with Southern Telephone Supply (now named Alltel Supply), CXR Telecom and Telebyte, Inc. Wright holds an electrical engineering degree, as well as both a Bachelor�s and Master�s Degree in Business Administration, and he currently is working toward a Ph.D. in Business Administration. �We are elated to have Jim join our management team,� Pelletier said. �He is a real proven performer who brings with him a plethora of management skills and extensive, highly relevant telecommunications industry experience.� �In addition to his significant sales and marketing credentials, Jim is a visionary technologist in new-generation telecommunications such as broadband, DSL and VoIP solutions,� Pelletier said. �He gives TeleMatrix the knowledge, experience and skill sets we need to solidify our foothold in hospitality, while at the same time continuing to expand our presence and products offerings in key high-growth commercial and residential markets.� During its first 15 years in business, TeleMatrix focused on building its leadership position in hospitality, a sector that in the early �80s was sorely searching for a company such as TeleMatrix � a dependable supplier of durable, feature-rich guestroom phones with truly global product approval, distribution and customer support, Pelletier said.
