caliber property was modeled after its Italian namesake and dedicated to
the discriminating traveler.
Like other boutique hotels, Siena has an underlying dedication to comfort, service and value with exceptional finishing touches. 214 tastefully appointed rooms and suites have river or panoramic mountain views, including Floor dei Nobili, an all-suite floor with butler service. Siena features comfortable room interiors with plush down comforters, Egyptian cotton linens, robes, coffee makers and the newest technology conveniences -- high-speed Internet access, Web TV, data lines, safes with chargers for laptop computers and cell phones, and two-line speakerphones. Hotel services also include daily newspaper delivery and turn down service. Guests at Siena will enjoy food and wine experiences that reflect the rich traditions of the town of Siena. Executive Chef Antonio Caggiano - a celebrated Tuscan chef -- brings his passion for food, wine and the Italian lifestyle to the new hotel. Cafe Palio, Siena's 24-hour coffee shop, features a fresh, hearty cuisine augmented by an open kitchen with rotisserie meats and poultry, homemade sausage, a live fire oven, and fresh breads and desserts baked twice daily. Lexie's, a contemporary Italian restaurant and lounge overlooking the Truckee River, offers an abundance of fresh seafood, sizable portions of organic beef and an expansive wine list. Lexie's also has a climatized smoking room, cognac bar and walk-in humidor where guests can partake in a premium cigar or imported cigarette paired with a smooth, aged cognac and specialty food appetizers. The lounge area will be a popular after hours spot for conversation and entertainment. The Enoteca (Italian for wine cave) is home to a wine bar/lounge that serves more than 200 fine wines by the glass with a special appetizer menu featuring foods which accentuate the taste of each wine. Visit the 18,000-bottle wine cellar or retail wine shop, or celebrate the good life at the Tuscan Table, a seven-course meal paired with highly allocated wines complete with tasting/pairing discussions led by the executive chef or the Siena's own Master Sommelier Barrie Larvin. Larvin, an internationally recognized Master Sommelier, was responsible for creating the world's finest wine cellar at the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The Spa at Siena will rival other acclaimed day spas in treatments, services and ambiance. The Spa has 11 therapy rooms for massage, facial and body treatments. Trained therapists offer personalized consultations that enhance well being and desired effects. The atmosphere combines serenity and special service in a quiet sanctuary filled with fragrant flowers and meditative music. Prior to treatments, guests relax on comfortable lounges in the Serenity Room and sip herbal tea or fruit juice while waiting to be led to their private room. Just outside the spa quarters is a fully equipped fitness room, outdoor lap pool, spa tub and a juice and smoothie bar. Siena's 23,000 square foot casino will quickly distinguish itself with its decor, size and atmosphere, as well as Reno's most innovative gaming technology and ambassador service. The environment will be unique - a high-energy casino amidst Roman Italian ruins set outside the city of Siena. Crumbling stone pillars, mammoth archways, high ceilings and Tuscan countryside frescos combine to create this ancient village atmosphere. The casino has 26 table games, 800 slot machines, Keno, a Race/Sports book and an intimate balcony overlooking the main floor for high limit table games and slots. Keeping the business traveler in mind, the resort also has a full service business center, high-speed Internet access, a newsstand and sundries shop. Guests can arrange for complimentary, on-demand luxury sedan or limousine transportation service to and from the airport. Valet parking, same day dry cleaning, and a professional concierge round out the services.
