Vacations Club has recently promoted three of its top professionals
to senior sales management positions in the company's' western region.
Andy Wunder was recently promoted to Director of Sales for Shell's Northern California area, and is currently responsible for overall sales at the firm's two San Francisco Preview Centers. Wunder has been with Shell since 1999, serving previously as Director of Sales at the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix. He has more than 13 years of timeshare experience. Industry veteran John M.Carter joined the team as Director of Marketing for California. He has been with Shell for two years and has more than a dozen years experience in the vacation ownership and hospitality industries. According to Bergelt, over a third of his sales associates earned over 18% commission during September 2001. This is due, in part, he believes to the prime locations of the sales centers. One is located at the top of the elegant Donatello Hotel, in the center of San Francisco's trendy shopping and dining district. The second Preview Center is at Fisherman's Wharf, overlooking the famed attractions of San Francisco, including the water, fishing and tour boats, famous restaurants, and Alcatraz in the distance. With ten off site Preview Centers and 14 resorts located in California, Hawaii, Arizona and Canada, Shell Vacations is one of the nation's largest independently owned vacation ownership developers, serving close to 60,000 owners.
