The private sector has been heavily involved in the development and delivery of the Hospitality & Tourism program and continues to be involved through industry associations and direct contact with instructors during the student�s work experience (field work). Typically the work experience component of the program allows the student a smooth transfer from academics to a new career in the hospitality & tourism industry.

Red Deer College offers a one-year Certificate and a two-year Diploma. A student can also transfer to various university degree programs. Hospitality and Tourism graduates find employment in a wide range of positions (including management) within the hospitality industry, or operate their own hospitality related businesses.
