Grove, IL September 2003 Premier Tourism Marketing announced a major
enhancement to its Leisure Travel Directory publication with the launch
of the new www.leisuretraveldirectory.com
web site.
Leisure Travel Directory debuted in January 2002 as a print and on-line reference directory for the group travel community, and has witnessed a strong 22% growth rate in 2003, despite harsh economic conditions that prevail within the industry. This latest enhancement to the products web capabilities increases functionality for both group travel planners that use the site, and suppliers interested in attracting more group business. Key features of the new site include:
Leisure Travel Directory is a suppliers answer to increased exposure and more efficient sales in the growing group travel marketplace, explained Jeffrey Gayduk, president of Premier Tourism Marketing. By combining tradition print, on-line and trade show exposure at over a dozen major industry shows, our directories envelop the marketplace like no other product. Readers like it as a resource because its focused on the group travel industry. They go directly to their source of interest. John Kloster, Vice President of Premier Tourism Marketing continued, The on-line directories consolidate all the information a group travel planner needs in one place in an incredibly easy to use format, complete with search engines, special offers, banner advertising and hyperlinks directly to participating suppliers. Its now practical to plan an entire group trip on-line. Leisure Travel Directory is distributed to over 27,000 group travel planners in print and at over a dozen major travel industry shows annually. Currently the web site receives over 8,000 visits from group travel planners per month. Over 1,000 suppliers have already registered on the new leisuretraveldirectory.com. Registration is free to all travel industry suppliers. Enhanced listings run $79 annually ($95 after January 1), and Premier level participation starts at just $605 annually, including a print ad in the corresponding directory along with a host of other benefits.
