Our Culinary program is the lowest cost in California and we place the importance and cost only on culinary or bakery programs and are instructed by our executive chefs certified by the American Culinary Federation. Due to small class size we only accept students who demonstrate a very strong desire to become a professional chef and become employed in this industry. Our job placement has been at 100%. We are a private dedicated School where you can specialize in either Culinary or Bakery, without taking both programs. We do have private financing but we have no connection with federal funds that require expensive long term student loans.

We are approved by a Sallie Mae Company (Career Training Loan � SLM Financial Corporation) SLM approval is earned only for schools who have a successful track record, approval of the schools curriculum and facilities and financial stability. We are also members of the Better Business Bureau, Food and Beverages Association in San Diego, Our Chefs belong to the American Culinary Federation. We are members of the United States Chamber of Commerce and are approved as a vocational school by the State of California. We began vocational business in San Diego in 1976.

NCBS also has its own 5,000 sq.ft. banquet hall with a 81 ft. bar for our National School of Bartending at 8380 Center Drive, La Mesa, CA. Additionally NCBS owns �A Memorable Event Catering� and students can get `real world´ experience on site here or for other parties we do in and around San Diego County.
