Mares,
a highly acclaimed marketing professional with more than 35 years of industry
experience in hospitality marketing, has served Convention and Visitors
Bureaus as Vice President in Denver, Colo.; Executive Vice President in
Mobile, Ala. and held top positions as Executive Director in Galveston,
Texas; Milwaukee, Wis.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Omaha, Neb. and most recently
Walton County Tourist Development Council.
Furthering his development
and experience in tourism, Mares also served on the Wisconsin Tourism Advisory
Council, Florida Tourism Commission, Board of Directors for VISIT FLORIDA,
and served as a member of the board of the International Association of
Convention & Visitor Bureaus.
