Students may earn credits toward a certificate (16 � 21 credits) or an Associate in Applied Science Degree (64 credits). Credits may be obtained by campus classes or on-line courses. The majority of students from Normandale continue their studies toward a four-year degree at a local university. Adult learners may also earn credit for prior learning from work experience through our Individualized Competence Based Education program (ICBE). Normandale Community College is located in one of the fastest growing hospitality areas in the country, the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Many opportunities for internships are available to our students as well as opportunities for placement after their schooling. Normandale has created many partnerships with local businesses, hospitality venues, civic and government organizations that open many doors for our students.
