County Chamber of Commerce, Inc., has announced the addition of seven
new Courtesy Info-Centers located at various locations within Lee County,
Florida.
�By
special arrangement with area businesses, we have established a much greater
opportunity to serve the Tourism and Business industry of Lee County. With
thousands of visitors each year seeking updated information, these seven
remote locations will make it easier for them to find that information
wherever they may visit in Lee County,� comments Robin Schwartz, marketing
and promotions director.

Known
as a tourist mecca, Lee County is located in Southwest Florida where it
is bordered by Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico on the west, and
by the counties of Charlotte, Hendry and Collier counties on the north,
east and south respectively. The scenic Caloosahatchee River bisects the
county. The county has 237 square miles of inland water and 172 square
miles of coastal/territorial water. The City of Cape Coral, which continually
boasts one of the nation�s fastest growing populations, features over 400
miles of canals. The average annual temperature is 74.4 F., with a January
average of 63.8, and an August average of 83.1 degrees. The annual average
precipitation is 53.44 inches.
