of Hospitality Management Boca Raton, FL
The colleges undergraduate and graduate programs capitalize on the fastest-growing areas in hospitality. The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management degree has majors in Luxury Resort and Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership/Timeshare Management and Sports and Recreation Management. In addition, Lynns College of Business and Management offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a major in Hospitality Management or in Sports and Athletics Administration. Lynns prime Boca Raton location in the heart of the southeast Florida coast allows students to thrive in this microcosm that has an unmatched range of hospitality, sports and recreational operations. Imagine being part of a living, learning laboratory for obtaining first-hand exposure, with the largest timeshare company in the world literally around the corner; the Florida Marlins, Florida Panthers, Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat sports franchises headquartered nearby; and countless opportunities that naturally exist in the heart of this world vacation capital. The faculty share a common commitment to academic excellence. As important, the college emphasizes experiential learning. For example, sports management students have the opportunity to attend the NCAA® Men's Final Four® as the culmination of a semester-long, three-credit course, entitled, "The Final Four® Experience." Throughout the term, students study the NCAA Manual, complete papers on stadium operations, conduct in-class debates on NCAA amateurism, and present multi-media presentations on event management. In 2008, students who attended the Final Four collected data from fans for a research study on demographics and ticket purchases, helped run an educational conference with the San Antonio Sports Commission, assisted in the operation of a youth sports event with the NCAA Local Organizing Committee, and participated in the National Association of Basketball Coaches trade show. Lynns hallmark is its high faculty-to-student-ratio, with an average class size of 17 students; one-on-one mentoring; and a commitment to providing the highest quality academics. We invite you to become an active part of this dynamic program at Lynn University and to begin working toward a bright future in the world of hospitality. Contact Information:
