Kor Hotel Groups Think Pink Campaign with Revlon/UCLA Breast Center Donates...
Los Angeles, CA September 2006 Pink has long been the recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness. This October, boutique hotel operator Kor Hotel Group will reflect that theme throughout National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its specially-tailored Think Pink campaign. Guests staying at any of Kors U.S. properties during October will have the option of selecting a Think Pink rate or a Think Pink package, 10% of which will be contributed to the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center. Offering a multi-disciplinary approach to a wide range of afflictions, the Breast Center is known for combining the latest diagnostic and treatment methods with consideration for the unique needs of each patient. October may be the official month for national fundraising campaigns, but awareness is a way of life: Think Pink for life.

Kor wanted to align itself with a cause that is supported by both our guests and our employees, said Tom Santora, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. And as a West Coast-based company, our desire to partner with a fellow Los Angeles non-profit was an important factor in our choice of the UCLA Breast Center as the recipient of this initiative.

Think Pink rates and Think Pink packages are available at all Kor boutique hotels in the U.S. during October, either online at www.thinkpinkhotels.com or by phone at (800) 439-3719.

  • Think Pink Rate: When guests select this option, Kor will donate 10% of the room rate to the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center.
  • Think Pink Package: For an additional price of $40, guests will receive a special Think Pink gift bag (actual value $120), in addition to the 10% donation. Gift bag includes:

    • Pink Martini CD, Hang on Little Tomato: Cuban rhythms, classical inflections, Brasilian street sounds: The Pink Martini 12-piece orchestra brings together music from around the world to create its modern sound. The sampler CD of the groups latest album is generously donated by Heinz Records.
