Hospitality & Tourism Management Johnson, Vermont
We offer a four year bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism management. Our students complete a core of management and hospitality courses providing a solid business foundation. In addition, our students choose a concentration in one of the following areas: Resort and Lodging Management, Food and Beverage Management, or Tourism Management. Finally, we weave over 900 hours of internships and experiential learning throughout the four years of study. Our program has entered a new era with the beginning of HTM 2000, financed by a significant foundation grant. HTM 2000 provides faculty members on the cutting edge of the profession, student scholarship opportunities, a state-of-the-art computer and technology lab, and exciting relationships with leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry. One of the best ways to learn how to succeed is from those who have succeeded. Our HTM Advisory Council, composed of top industry leaders in Vermont, regularly advise our faculty and work with our students on current issues in hospitality and tourism. This is just one more way in which our students profit from our close proximity to a host of world-renowned resorts. For more information on the program, check out our department website at www.jsc.edu or contact contact Todd Comen, HTM Program Director.
