Schneider Publishing Company, Inc., publishes two magazines, Association News and SportsTravel,  which serve specialized group travel markets. Association News is an advertiser-supported monthly trade magazine for association executives and meeting planners at more than 40,000 state and regional associations nationwide. The magazine was founded in 1976 as the official publication of the California Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus and was acquired by Schneider Publishing Company (SPC) in 1992. SportsTravel is an advertiser-supported monthly magazine for the sports event industry that was launched by the company in 1997. Mr. Schneider serves as publisher and editor-in-chief of both magazines.

TEAMS: Travel, Events And Managment in Sports � an annual conference and expo for the international sports event industry � is produced and owned by the company. TEAMS 2005, sponsored by Best Western International, will be held November 2-5 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

SPC also publishes books and other educational materials for its core magazine audiences. The company has also produced a number of other educational seminars and is active in electronic publishing through the numerous Web sites it owns.

Tim received an AB in government from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is a frequent presenter at industry conferences, is an active member of numerous industry organizations and served two terms on the board of directors of the National Association of Sports Commissions. He and his wife, Laura, and 19-month old son, Luke, reside in Pacific Palisades, California.
