The Hotel School, Sydney, Australia is a unique partnership between an international five star hotel and a university. Operated jointly by the Hotel Inter.Continental Sydney and Southern Cross University, The Hotel School is situated just metres from the glorious Sydney Harbour and Opera House, right next door to the historic Hotel Inter.Continental itself.

The programme offers a 3 year Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management as well as a 1 year chefs apprenticeship course. In the first year of our degree programme, students alternate between 2 weeks classroom work and 2 weeks paid work placement at a 4/5 star hotel in Sydney, giving them a unique learning experience which prepares them for employment in hotel management positions in Australia and internationally. Second and third year of the programme is full-time university level studies where students study a broad range of management based subjects, focusing on the skills that are needed for continued learning in a changing global business environment.

The Hotel School is highly regarded within the industry in Australia, winning the prestigous 2001 NSW Tourism Award for Business Excellence in Industry Training as well as the Award of the Decade for Industry Training in 1999.
