Granite City Food & Brewery Opens in West Wichita, Kansas
Minneapolis, MN � July 2006 � Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. (Nasdaq: GCFB) announced the opening of its 14th restaurant/microbrewery located in West Wichita, Kansas.

�We are very pleased with this opportunity to have a presence on the west side of Wichita,� said Steve Wagenheim, Granite City Food & Brewery�s President and CEO. �We opened today to a great lunch crowd and look forward to a long lasting relationship with the Wichita community. We are on track with our 2006 expansion strategy with four new store openings scheduled throughout the Midwest in the coming months.�

Wagenheim said the company plans to open restaurants in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska by the end of 2006.
