Fort Myers, FL � April 2013 / Hospitality 1ST / Florida Repertory Theater has announced the names of celebrities to be performing at its annual fundraising gala, OnStage with Florida Rep: Radio Daze on Saturday, April 27 at the Estero Country Club at the Vines in South Fort Myers.

The star-studded Radio Daze event is a vintage live radio program featuring an all-star cast of Southwest Florida�s favorite local celebrities onstage alongside members of Florida Rep�s Ensemble of professional actors.

Local business, educational, political and philanthropic leaders who have agreed to perform include: video production guru Don Abbott; veteran actor Liz Abbott; Harry Chapin Food Bank Chairman Jo Anna Bradshaw; Florida Gulf Coast University President Dr. Wilson Bradshaw; Shell Factory co-owner Pam Cronin; philanthropist Berne Davis; columnist Stephanie �Diva� Davis; Florida State Representative, Heather Fitzenhagen; Florida Weekly President Pason Gaddis; Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson; CEO of Clive Daniel Home, Daniel Lubner; Florida Rep Board member and actor, Sunny Lubner; veteran Florida Rep actor Carrie Lund; Abbott Productions President and long-time national actor, Greg Longenhagen; President of RC Peacock Consulting, Cole Peacock; Steve Pontius, Executive VP of Waterman Broadcasting; WBBH chief meteorologist Robert Van Winkle and other surprise guests.

The live Radio Play portion of the evening will feature two short acts with celebrities performing the roles, all of whom will have you rolling in your seats with laughter. Act I will be fashioned after the popular old-time radio program, Fibber McGee & Molly, and Act II will spoof the Phillip Marlowe, and Sam Spade detective stories. The radio plays were written by broadcasting veteran Don Abbott and directed by Florida Rep�s founder and Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo.

Raffle prizes � with tickets at $50 � include a week�s stay at a luxurious vacation home in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, a pair of season tickets to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall with dining gift certificates, dinner for eight at Robert and Carrie Cacioppo�s home, and the most talked-about prize: the opportunity to accompany Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo to New York City in the fall on the theatre�s annual casting trip to observe the audition process. This raffle prize includes roundtrip airfare for two and accommodations in New York City.

Tickets for the Radio Daze Event � starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Estero Country Club at the Vines � are priced at $150 and include an elegant four-course dinner.
