Roadhouse Grill Introduces 14 Menu Items

Pompano Beach, FL � June 2002 � Roadhouse Grill Inc. has introduced 14 menu items that will be available June 24 at the company's 69 restaurants nationwide.

The New Menu Items Are

  • Appetizers:
    • Filet Tip Sticks: Skewers of Mesquite-grilled filet mignon served with a peanut-dipping sauce
    • Honey BBQ Chicken Wings: Served on a bed of tortilla chips
  • Entrees:
    • �Little Italy� Pasta Alfredo: Penne pasta served plain or with chicken and/or broccoli
    • Chinatown Chicken Salad: Mesquite-grilled chicken served over lettuce with crispy noodles, mandarin oranges and a new Asian Sesame dressing
    • Club Sandwich: A classic triple-decker served on toast with ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese
  • Lunch Selections:
    • Roadhouse Grilled Meatloaf: Oven-roasted meatloaf finished on a Mesquite grill and served as an entree with mashed potatoes and gravy
    • Roadhouse Grilled Meatloaf Sandwich: Mesquite-grilled meatloaf served on a honey roll with french fries and gravy on the side
  • Side Items:
    • Corn on the Cob: Mesquite-grilled corn served with butter
  • Dessert:
    • Key Lime Pie
  • Specialty-cocktail drinks:
    • Roadhouse Razzy: A raspberry-flavored vodka drink
    • Roadhouse Limon-Ade: A lemon-flavored drink with Bacardi Limon
    • Roadhouse Melon-Rage: A melon-flavored Margarita
    • Roadhouse Blue Lemonade: A lemon-flavored drink with Blue Curacao
    • Roadhouse Green Envy: A creamy, melon-flavored vodka drink

    �We developed these menu items as part of our initiatives to broaden our customer base by providing a wider array of flavors,textures and options, including an Alfredo pasta for vegetarians,� said Ayman Sabi, chief executive officer of Roadhouse Grill.� Going forward, we expect to continue the development of our menu and new signature items at Roadhouse Grill.�

    Roadhouse Grill tested the items at its South Florida and Orlando locations. The company's Executive Chef Vincent Delillo, who trained at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), spearheaded the development of the menu items along with SueHolland, the company's director of training.
