There are several professional networking opportunities available to students through the Hospitality Management Student Club. Club activities include industry guest speakers, local field trips and trips to the American Hotel Lodging Trade Show in New York City in the fall and the National Restaurant Association Trade Show in Chicago in the spring. Undergraduates are required to have two 600-hour paid cooperative (co-op) education work experiences, the second of which must be in a supervisory position. Faculty will assist in work experience placements. Graduate students are also encouraged to obtain paid work experience in the hospitality industry prior to graduation. In addition there are several annual scholarships available to Hotel and Restaurant Management students. For more information, contact:
