has promoted Greg Lesperance to the position of vice president of technology
and business process solutions. Lesperance will be responsible for establishing
appropriate general and application systems controls to ensure the proper
levels of security over the company�s information and data. He will also
ensure that the full value of information technology is realized and is
properly aligned with the business.
Lesperance, a certified public accountant, joined the company in March 2004 as vice president of internal audit. There he oversaw the company-wide internal audit function. He developed a strategic plan and direction for the internal audit function and an enterprise-wide risk management program for operational, financial and process audits at both corporate and field locations. Prior to joining Delaware North, he served with Birds Eye Foods and PricewaterhouseCoopers. �With the ever increasing importance of information security, we felt the company needed a dedicated resource to oversee our business solutions as they relate to the storage and integrity of data,� said Karen Kemp, CFO for Delaware North Companies. �I expect great things for our company as a result of Greg�s dedication and willingness to take on this newly created position,� she added. He is a graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., where he obtained a bachelor�s degree in accounting.
