Toronto,
Ontario February 2005 Choice
Hotels Canada (CHC) has introduced a new logo for its flagship Comfort
Inn brand. The new Comfort Inn sign, featuring the brands signature multi-coloured
circular sunburst on a royal blue background, will be in place on all
Comfort Inn brand hotels, as well as all new Comfort Inn brand hotels entering
the system, by December 31.
The new Comfort Inn logo has been incorporated into all Choice documentation and advertising beginning January 1. The new logo will be integrated into the hotels signs and promotional material over the next year. The new look for Comfort Inn is just one element of several brand enhancements that will take place over the next year. All Comfort Inns across Canada will offer free High Speed Internet Access to guests by April 1. Enhancements will also be made at the hotel level designed to make a guests stay with Comfort Inn even better. These include pulsating shower heads, curved shower rods and full length mirrors in every guestroom. The ongoing program will see the introduction of new products and services to the Comfort Inn brand. Choice Hotels Canada has taken one of our strongest brands and made significant improvements to the overall look, amenities and guest services, said Mike Jackson, president. Our research has shown that the new logo more accurately reflects the current Comfort Inn product. Feedback from our guests and franchisees has been extremely positive and they are very excited about the new look for Comfort Inn. Choice
