of Hotel and Restaurant Management Program
Program Structure And Schedule; Participants in the OnLine Program will earn a Master of Hospitality Management from the University of Houston. In this executive program there is no distinction between the Online Program and a degree earned by attending the course on campus; only the delivery method is distinctive. The Online program consists of 36 credit hours, with students participating in 6 hours of classes in each of three terms per year. Each term will consist of a series of learning modules that integrate and emphasize particular management and subject matter areas. Each participant will integrate the work of the program by preparing a professional paper that explores an area of special interest. Industry Experience Is Important!; We understand that many candidates have significant industry experience and are at executive levels in the hospitality industry. For those of you who are in this category, courses may be waived and substituted by an independent study or another elective course so that you can take advantage of the credit hours and choose courses that can enhance your learning experience.
