The Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration is the oldest, largest, and only accredited program of its kind in Georgia and one of the first ten programs nationwide accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Programs in Hospitality Administration. Georgia State University is located in the center of the convention, meeting and hotel district of Atlanta.

The Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Administration. The school also offers an undergraduate minor in Hospitality Administration. A Certificate Program in Hospitality is also offered for non-majors and post-baccalaureates. The Certificate of Hospitality Administration program requires completion of four courses with specialization options in hospitality operations, trade show and event planning, and meeting planning.

Graduates of the School of Hospitality work in all segments of the industry including management positions in hotels, restaurants, convention centers, entertainment venues, private clubs, trade shows, event planning and meeting planning. The School offers Student Organizations, Mentorship Programs, an Annual Hospitality Career Fair, On-Campus Interviewing, Networking with Advisory Board members and other industry Leaders, Student representation at major industry conventions including the New York International Hotel Show, the National Restaurant Show and the World Conference of Club Managers Association of America. Scholarships are also available through the School of Hospitality Administration.
