C.A.R.E. Announces Participation in TATOC Conference in the U.K.
C.A.R.E. Announces Spring Conference Agenda
Harrisonburg, VA � April 2013 / Hospitality 1ST / C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) is pleased to announce that the organization participated in the Timeshare Association (TATOC) conference held March 8-10, 2013. The TATOC conference included more than 150 timeshare owners and industry participants from every facet of the timeshare world including resort staff, exchange companies, marketers and other interested companies.

The event was held in a lovely and historic manor building that previously belonged to the Earl of Crewe in Cheshire and is now part of the Q Hotel chain and was hosted by TATOC (the Timeshare association), a timeshare owners� consumer group. Besides a panel on which C.A.R.E. participated, there were networking sessions, a motivational speaker, individual speakers and reports related to TATOC�s functions such as its consumer hotline and advocacy and related work in the timeshare resorts and industry such as certifying marketers and resale companies.

Mr. John Woodward, a TATOC member/owner commented in his summary of the Conference: �Mr Jim Wehrle, the vice president, C.A.R.E. and e-business director of Sunset World group, based in Cancun, Mexico explained all about C.A.R.E.: An international trade organization with members from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia, an association established in 1985 comprised of representatives from several timeshare resorts who found that by exchanging holiday inventory amongst themselves were able to satisfy the needs of owners with increased vacation opportunities.

Jim enlightened us with a presentation about C.A.R.E., and of being able to promote ethical and outstanding vacation services by providing educational and networking opportunities, all complying to the required strict code of standards. With membership growing, members were able to enjoy more opportunities at more resorts.�

C.A.R.E.�s participation in TATOC and similar trade associations around the world such as ARDA (American Resort Development Association), AMDETUR (The Mexican Tourism Development Association), CRDA (the Canadian Resort Development Association) is part of its ongoing effort and commitment to work with and to be part of all facets of the timeshare industry, integrating owners, marketing and sales operations, HOA�s, exchange companies, travel clubs and affiliated companies that supply goods and services to the industry�always working toward: �The mission of C.A.R.E. which is to promote ethical and outstanding vacation services by providing education and networking opportunities.�
