Phoenix, AZ September 2004 Best Western makes a stay at the worlds largest hotel chain twice as nice for its frequent guests again this fall with the launch of its annual Best Western Double Up promotion.

From September 1 through November 30, 2004, Gold Crown Club International members will earn their choice of either double points or double miles with every qualified Best Western stay. All guests who book now can also take advantage of Best Western BestRates®, the companys special discount program that offers up to 50 percent off standard room rates.

The incredible value found in both our Double Up and BestRates campaigns makes it impossible for consumers to stay home this fall, said Lynn Magnuson, Best Westerns director of frequency marketing. With thousands of Best Western hotels at their service, the best is yet to come for business and leisure travelers who make the most of these special offers.

To be eligible, guests must register for the Best Western Double Up offer prior to their first stay at www.bestwesterndoubleup.com, or call 1-800-WESTERN and mention promotion code DBL04. Individuals who are not already Gold Crown Club International members can sign up for the program when registering for the offer.

Best Western Double Up awards are available to residents of the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Asia. Guests must provide their Gold Crown Club International membership card or number at hotel check-in to receive their additional bonus. For those guests selecting airline miles as their award option, no flight is required to qualify. Miles earned will be credited to the guests accounts six-to-eight weeks following their hotel stay. Best Western BestRates are available to all guests at participating hotels in the U.S. and Canada.

Launched in 1988, Best Westerns Gold Crown Club International loyalty program is one of the industrys few truly international travel clubs. Members across the globe can earn points towards an extensive array of product and service awards including Global Free Room Nights, dining, shopping, entertainment and airline miles at Best Western hotels throughout North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In 2003, Gold Crown Club International was voted Inside Flyer magazines loyalty Program to Watch.

Best Western International is THE WORLDS LARGEST HOTEL CHAIN® with more than 4,100 hotels in 80 countries and territories. It is a membership association of independently owned and operated hotels that provides marketing, reservations and operational support to its members.
