Blue Mountains Hotel School Tourism & Hospitality Management Leura, Australia
www.hotelschool.com.au
Established in 1990, the Blue Mountains Hotel School (BMHS), Leura, is Australias first and best established fully residential hotel management school and has a proven track record of being one of the best hospitality educators in the World. As members of the Alliance of International Hotel & Business Schools (www.alliancehotelschool.com) students graduate with internationally recognised Australian and Swiss qualifications.

BMHS offers Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree and Graduate Diploma courses in Tourism & Hospitality management in association with the IHTTI, Switzerland, and the University of New England, NSW Australia.

Located within three hectares of gardens, the BMHS campus is in the heart of the Blue Mountains, only 1½ drive from Sydney, a heritage listed wilderness park that is one of the most popular tourist regions in New South Wales.

During the academic semesters students live on campus in the student run simulated hotel, No 1 Chambers. Twin share accommodation in comfortable ensuite rooms, each with a Pentium computer linked to e-mail and the Internet, is provided along with telephones. All meals are catered for as a part of the fees and students have the choice of two restaurants in which to dine. Excellent recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, beach volleyball pit, basketball/tennis court, student lounges and coffee shop.

Students undertake fully paid work placements in some of Australias leading hospitality establishments as a component of the course.

The School has two intakes in January and July each year and positions are in great demand.
