Asheville-Buncombe Technical
Community College is recognized as The Culinary Technology program in the
State of North Carolina and is continuing to gain increased stature among
culinary programs and chefs in the southeast through its Culinary Competition
Team�s achievements. Culinary competition awards are many.

A-B Tech�s Hospitality Education
Department offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in three programs:
Culinary Technology, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hotel/Restaurant Management.
At A-B Tech, Culinary Technology
students learn through classroom lectures, laboratory experiences, and
once-weekly restaurant productions. Students participate in practical education
experiences that translate classroom learning to real life. Opportunities
