Inks Contract For Ramada Inn And Conference Center

Naples, FL � July 2002 � Bonita Springs-headquartered ABP Hospitality Management, LLC, recently signed a third-party agreement to manage the Ramada Inn and Conference Center Plant City Florida, its first property in the southeastern United States.

According to chief executive officer Alex Passacantando, the management partnership will allow ABP to take the property to �the next level.� Noted owners Batista and Evelyn Madonia, �ABP's management 'know-how' will help us bring back the property to its impressive past and give something back to the community.�

The property has 270 guest rooms, an outdoor pool, a 200-seat restaurant, lounge plus a 5,980 sq. ft. conference center that seats 500 banquet-style, with an additional 3,067 sq. ft. breakout room space.

As for changes planned at the property, Passacantando commented that the property is undergoing a $2.0MM guestroom, restaurant, lobby and conference center renovation, with refurbishment of the parking lot currently underway. Expected completion date is fall 2002.

�We will enhance the conference facilities as well as offer tech upgrades and bring in new tables and chairs,� reports Bob Delaney, ABP's Chief Operating Officer.

The property, located at 2011 North Wheeler Street, is situated within one mile of Plant City's historic and antique district and less than one hour for all the Orlando attractions and just 26 miles from Busch Gardens. It has a strong mid-market traveler base and hosts a number of social and business meetings. �There is also a terrific opportunity to introduce tour groups and bus programs to this property,� adds Delaney.
