Sales
Account Executive
General
Definition and Overview
The
Sales Account Executive (SAE) role at Market Metrix will be to meet and
exceed the company�s revenue objectives for sales of Market Metrix Customer
Programs in their given territory. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing,
this position will be a critical role in driving both new business opportunities
and selling to current customers of Market Metrix.
Responsibilities
-
Implement
an organized and well-planned �value-based� sales strategy in assigned
accounts and prospects. The objective will be to meet and exceed revenue
goals by selling new business and by growing existing accounts.

Work
closely with Market Metrix Operations team to ensure the success of current
customers in the territory and to position Market Metrix as the vendor
of choice for their future Customer projects.

Sell
value at multiple levels within corporate accounts. On a consistent basis
be able to plan, then articulate and execute, value-added sales campaign
for Market Metrix products and services.

Create,
manage, and execute crisp Strategic Account plans.
Experience
and Skills
-
Proven
track record of successful professional sales experience. Prefer experience
with selling efforts directed at the C-level, Business Unit, and Director
Levels within companies. Hospitality industry experience a plus.

A proven
track record of closing complex-selling engagements.

Must
have list of successful account sales with ability to articulate the planned
selling strategy, execution challenges, and eventual outcome for those
accounts.

Possess
excellent account management capabilities including conducting planning
sessions, expectation setting, and consultative work with a current customer.
Behaviors

Excellent
strategic thought process. Must be able to establish a plan to sell into
large accounts, build relationships with decision-makers and influencers,
set value strategies by individual/account, work the sales strategy, and
close the sales opportunity in a timely basis.

Successful
candidates must be highly organized, possess excellent follow-up skills,
communicate clearly, define expectations, establish plans, leverage other
departments or resources within Market Metrix, and have excellent presentation
skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with many
types of individuals.
