Regional Revenue Manager - Memphis, TN

Job Duties: Revenue Manager will support hotels in maximizing RevPar by centrally managing inventory to support revenue management strategies. Will identify revenue opportunities through proactive revenue management trend analysis and tactical solutions yielding greatest profit potential. Pro-actively applies restrictions and inventory controls to support objectives. Will support approximately 50 hotels: Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton Inn properties. Will provide procedural support for RMS and System 21 Reservation System to hotel General managers and Directors of Sales. Other duties include competition analysis and ad-hoc reporting RevPar Index goals.Key Functions: To provide proactive tactical analysis of hotels' rate and inventory configuration, and use of revenue management tools to develop total revenue maximization strategies, and to centrally manage selected properties' inventory; to communicate directly with hotels management teams to implement these strategies, follow up with hotel teams to ensure compliance and to provide analytical support to regional and corporate operations teams.
Qualifications / Requirements: Requires excellent analytical skills; the ability to direct multiple tasks simultaneously; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to achieve results through direct application of revenue management strategies as well as influencing others in a consultative manner. The ability to interpret complex reports such as Estar, Business Information, and Revenue Management Systems reports and communicate results to General Managers, Directors of Sales, etc. The ability to analyze hotel demand patterns, market share, history penetration, yield and reservations delivery by channel and influence hotel management teams to use this analysis to implement strategies that will maximize the hotel revenue and profit potential.
Requires extensive knowledge of Hilton Hotels Reservation System (3270, AI, Pro 2000, System 21), Revenue Management System, Excel and Word. BS/BA or equivalent; 5 years experience in hotel operations, preferably as Director of Sales, Front Office Manager, or Assistant General Manager.
