Manager of Property Finance � Biloxi, MS

Description
Works with property Finance Staff on projects and assignments at the properties as designated.

Helps audit, revise and implement property Accounting Policies and Procedures. Works with property Finance Personnel throughout the budget process and reviews, including assistance with preparation and input.

Works with Corporate Director of Finance - Properties as acting liaison with outside auditors regarding property issues. Implements and reports on issues relating to standardization among property Finance Reports, Policies and Procedures. Implements and reports on Finance related compliance issues arising at the properties.

Works with property Finance Staff throughout the pre-opening phase to ensure the smooth opening of the new property.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field - Master Degree or CPA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in all aspects of Finance Analysis and Reporting, Payroll, Payables, Receivables, etc.
  • 3 years managing a professional level staff inclusive of Managers and Supervisors. Casino or Hospitality Industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all Senior Directors and Finance Departmental Staff at both property and Corporate levels.
  • Must have the readiness and flexibility to move to a property location irrespective of location in the position of Controller or Senior Director of Finance. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and outside Accounting, Legal and other business professionals.
  • Proficient knowledge, skills and abilities with personal computer and AS/400 Software packages (i.e Word, Excel, Power Point, CMS, SDS, Stratton-Warren, etc.)
Salary/Benefits: Salary ranges between $43,000 - $78,500
