School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management – Denver, CO
HRTM faculty blend strong academic credentials with practical industry experience to provide a real-world presentation of course materials. With a student-faculty ratio of 13:1 and with class sizes that average fewer than 25 students, faculty members- not teaching assistants- teach all classes and provide personal attention and individual advising to our students. Through required work experiences, a management intern program, and a quarter abroad, the HRTM curriculum produces students with a competitive edge for employment at graduation. As a location, Denver is a vibrant and growing market, well suited to a hospitality and tourism business program. Denver combines the key features of a great place to live with the attractions of a great place to visit. Recreational as well as educational opportunities abound for University of Denver students at Colorado's many resorts, world-class hotels, and diverse restaurants. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you or for you to visit the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. For further information, contact Dawn Halaiko, program counselor at 303.871.4473 or dhalaiko@du.edu. Please also look at our website for course descriptions, faculty bio, and admission criteria.
