Sinclair Community College – Hospitality Programs (Culinary/Travel/Tourism) – Dayton, OH

With our enrollment of 23,000 students, our single-campus college in downtown Dayton, Ohio, is among the largest community college campuses in America. Our remarkable faculty, staff, and students exhibit quality as evidenced by frequent national and state awards. We are also proud to be members of the board of the League for Innovation in the Community College.

Hospitality Management, Baking and Culinary Arts (HMT)
Sinclair’s Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs are accredited by C.A.H.M. (Commission for Accreditation of Hospitality Management) and A.C.F. (American Culinary Federation). Baking Courses are certified by the Retailer’s Bakery Association. National Restaurant Association, Educational Foundation ProMgt courses available for ServSafe (HMT 107), Nutrition (HMT 108), and Bar Operations (HMT 125) certification. Because Sinclair’s Culinary Arts program is ACF certified, Culinary Arts graduates need only complete an application and provide a transcript to the A.C.F. in order to become a registered “Certified Culinarian.”

Travel and Tourism Department (TNT)
The Travel & Tourism program is devoted to the study of the basic theory of travel, and developing the skills of a travel professional. The travel and tourism industry is fast-paced industry. Students can go to careers as a, car rental desk agent, tour guide for motor coach, airline or cruise ship, travel agent, hotel or as a convention and visitor bureau manager, etravel, to name some of the opportunities.
