Restaurant, Travel & Tourism Programs – Oceanside, CA
The program caters to students with varying goals. Those seeking immediate employment can earn a certificate and receive comprehensive support in obtaining internships or conducting a job search from MiraCosta’s Center for Career Studies and Services. Those interested in training beyond the A.A. degree are eligible to transfer to a number of public and private four-year universities in California or Nevada or to Les Roches - Swiss Hotel Association School of Hotel Management. Les Roches offers an option to attend for one year to receive the Swiss Hotel Association Diploma or for two years to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality. MiraCosta is the only college in the western part of the United States to have an agreement with Les Roches. MiraCosta College also offers a strong Meeting and Events Planning Certificate Program through Community Services and Business Development, the not-for-credit Extended Studies area of the college. The program consists of six core classes and two electives for a total of 48 hours of interactive instruction. For Certificates and Degrees in Hospitality Management, contact: Eileen Kraskouskas
