Indiana Univ.-Purdue Univ. (IPFW) – Hospitality & Tourism Management – Fort Wayne, IN
www.ipfw.edu/cfs
Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) offers more academic and extracurricular opportunities than any other higher education institution in northeastern Indiana. A joint campus of two internationally recognized Big Ten schools, IPFW grants both Indiana University and Purdue University degrees.

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Curriculum is both practical and visionary – ensuring students graduate with an understanding of industry complexities and challenges. We keep pace with changing industry demands by offering courses in accounting, human resource, marketing, hospitality law, labor, property, personnel selection, travel writing, computer science, and financial management. By studying these areas, you’ll be prepared for an industry that changes frequently because of government regulations and consumerism’s growing impact.

At IPFW, students have access to personalized and diverse learning experiences through student/faculty research projects, internships, study-abroad programs, cooperative education, and distance learning. Students can expect academic rigor, innovative approaches, and a curriculum relevant to today’s world.

We have a state-of-the-art, 150 bed, Holiday Inn on our campus which houses a classroom to enhance our program. This hotel adds practical application to the textbook and lecture knowledge gained by our students.

Associate of Science
The two-year program prepares you to become a middle manager or supervisor of facilities providing foodservice and lodging for large numbers of people. You may proceed from this specialized plan to study the four-year Bachelor of Science option.

Bachelor of Sciences
You receive a general education that can lead to a management position in the hospitality and tourism industry after completing this four-year program. Career options are wide open for our graduates. This program also includes a flexibility to customize your studies to build competencies in related areas of interest.
