The Albert Schnell/Hilton Learning & Catering Centre
This 1.2 million dollar newly renovated centre opened in January 2002 and houses educational laboratories to teach Food & Beverage Management, Restaurant Operations & Management, and Food Production Control.  Such courses are part of the Hospitality Management & Culinary Programs.The centre’s showcase areas will include a 5* dining room, 2 modern kitchens, a mobile kitchen unit and a retail outlet, which will sell the culinary products created daily by students. This facility is used to educate students in preparing over 16,000 dinners/lunches a year and serving over 90 Annual Special Events. The ability to learn in this newly renovated centre will no doubt enhance Humber’s student success in the Provincial Culinary Skills Canada Competition…3 gold’s in 4 years.
