Fairleigh Dickinson Univ – Int’l School of Hospitality & Tourism Management – Teaneck, NJ
www.fdu.edu
Fairleigh Dickinson, centered in the largest hospitality market in the world, is the oldest program of its type in the metro New York area and one of the oldest in the U.S., having been founded in 1942. It has produced over 2,000 graduates and currently has 500 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The School, in line with the University’s mission, has gone global and has locations or partnerships in the U.S., Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

The School offers a B.S. degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, a B.A. (specialization in Hospitality or Culinary Arts) for adult learners, an M.S. degree in Hospitality Management Studies and a combined B.S. /M.S. 5 year degree program. All students participate in the School’s unique Professional Development Sequence which is composed of classes, activities and work experiences (1200 hours) designed to foster their personal, academic and professional growth.

The School’s College at Florham campus, in Madison, New Jersey, is the former Vanderbilt/Twombly estate. Adjacent to this campus is the School’s learning laboratory, the Dolce Hamilton Park Hotel and Executive Conference Center, which provides students with on-site classes, internships, scholarships and the student run Scholarship Dinner, which is supported by industry and raises significant funds for student financial aid.

Mindful of the School’s unique location, notable faculty, industry created curriculum and global presence, the world’s oldest and most prestigious culinary society, the Chaine des Rotisseurs has chosen the College at Florham campus to locate its new U.S. headquarters and has provided significant room in its new building for the School’s offices, conference rooms and classroom space.
