Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH – June 2013 / Hospitality 1ST / The world’s largest travel website, TripAdvisor, has awarded The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake its prestigious 2013 Certificate of Excellence award, which is based on consistently high ratings from travelers.

According to TripAdvisor, guest reviews on its site frequently commended The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake with high praise about their stay. Only about 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor.com receive this annual award.

  • 2012 Parks and Resorts Achievement Award – The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake received this honor for achieving its goals and exceeding 2012 objectives.
  • Dennis Szefel Stewardship Award – This prestigious Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts award was presented to The Lodge for exemplifying Delaware North Companies’ core principals of stewardship. Among them are the profound respect and care for iconic destinations, interpreting and sharing The Lodge’s values with guests, and weaving The Lodge’s commitment to local sustainability into everything they do.
  • GreenPath Award of Excellence – The Lodge’s ongoing allegiance to the environment was also showcased with the GreenPath Award of Excellence for achieving the environmental requirements from the International Organization for Standardization and recently receiving the Ohio EPA’s Environmental Excellence Award. Some of the qualifying initiatives included increasing recycling, conserving electricity and water and purchasing local products whenever possible.
