Unforgettable Valentine’s Day Experiences Await
The Lodge is helping make Valentine’s Day weekend an unforgettable romantic occasion. Couples can enjoy a Vintners Dinner and wine tasting experience on Feb. 13 featuring Ferrante Winery. Guests can also dine in Horizons Restaurant on Feb. 12-14 and indulge in a specially prepared, three-course Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu for two or simply order their favorites off the Horizons menu.

The Lodge’s popular Vintners Dinner wine tasting experience makes its 2010 debut on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6:00 p.m. with Ferrante Winery sharing anecdotes while leading a wine tasting and seminar. Guests will then be treated to a five-course dinner highlighted by a wine country cheese plate, lobster bisque, red wine poached pear with mixed greens, filet mignon with pan seared scallops and New York style cheesecake. The Lodge’s Executive Chef Steven Sterritt and Nick Ferrante from Ferrante Winery will reveal the secrets of each course’s wine pairings while visiting with guests during dinner. Live music will serenade guests throughout the evening.

The Vintners Dinner Package also includes overnight accommodations for two, breakfast the following morning and a late checkout. The package begins at $299 plus tax, per couple with promo code: VINTNER.

Executive Chef Sterritt will also create a Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu in Horizons Restaurant. This special Valentine’s Day menu allows guests to customize their dinner from two selections in each of three courses. The Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu is $89 plus tax per couple or $109 plus tax per couple with wine pairings. In addition to the three-course Valentine’s Day dinner, guests can choose to order off the menu in Horizons Restaurant.

Guests seeking a private escape will enjoy the Lodge’s Sweetheart Package, featuring the perfect pairing of chocolates and a bottle of wine, as well as overnight accommodations and breakfast for two. Rates begin at $115 plus tax, per couple with promo code: SWEET, available through March 31.
