Welcome: Culinary School of the Rockies is a small, nationally accredited culinary school, ideally located in Boulder, Colorado, a diverse and vibrant community. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder boasts a moderate climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year. With a wealth of farm fresh ingredients, Colorado attracts celebrated chefs, and is home to renowned restaurants and world famous resorts.

Unparalleled Student-Teacher Ratio: The Professional Programs at Culinary School of the Rockies provide a student-focused, quality culinary education. In selecting the right school, consider our unsurpassed 8-to-1 student teacher ratio's. We enroll just 16 students per program. Hands-on small class sizes assure you of an excellent and comprehensive culinary experience.

The Curriculum: Focused on classic and contemporary techniques and cuisine and emphasizes sensory awareness. Culinary School of the Rockies is the only school in the United States that has a four-week study and externship in France or a four-week study and externship in Farms in Colorado, as an integral part of the curriculum, and an award-winning program designed and taught by top Colorado chefs.

Lifetime Placement: Our placement staff works closely with each individual student and offers lifetime placement services. Our graduates have obtained diverse and rewarding positions throughout the country.

Programs

  • Culinary Arts - full time, six-month culinary program, featuring a four-week study in France or four week Farm-to Table Externship.
  • Chef Track - 15-week, part-time, affordable evening program with 10-14 top Colorado chefs/instructors.
  • Pastry Arts - 5 Week intensive course, covering the essentials of pastry and baking.
Culinary School of the Rockies is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training and approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools.
